Floarea Vieții is a film about the people who still keep the traditional decoration of their homes. Filmed in hundreds of localities across the Republic of Moldova, it invites the viewer on a journey to see Moldova with different eyes.
Varvara Buzilă, the film's protagonist, travels from village to village collecting old objects to be kept at the museum. With her we discover what gives each village its character, how people make their homes beautiful, and the hospitality of those she meets. In every region of the country, the film crew talked with people who still keep and cherish the heritage of the past. Floarea Vieții is a warm film about good people, beautiful places and a little hope for the future.
